From Basement to Art Studio

This project began with nothing but a dark, rough concrete basement. The client needed an economical way of transforming it into a comfortable art studio. Insulated walls, recessed lighting, and bold trim were added, but the real focal point of the room is the stained concrete floor.

This treatment saved the client from installing expensive flooring materials like hardwood or tile. It also serves functionally as an easy to clean surface. The rich color gives a feeling of warmth that most basements lack.
